The positioning system for work vessels (route management type) is a system that guides work vessels performing ground improvement operations such as sand compaction, sand drains, and CDM (Cement Deep Mixing) in construction projects at ports and coastlines to their designated working positions. It uses two RTK-GPS units, allowing for real-time corrections not only of position but also of twist, making it easy to guide the vessel to the specified location while checking the computer screen. Compared to traditional guidance methods using total stations, it does not require maintaining a line of sight and is not affected by weather conditions, thus leveraging the advantages of GPS.
